GoMa
This panel reads info from the Azureus file sharing program.

Important:
In order to use it you must first, in Azureus, go to Config->Options, and then in Statistics check Enable and specify a path.

This panel DOES NOT require the .NET Framework. clap.gif

Version 1.2, Released April 17, 2006, Features:
- Supports (only) Desktop Sidebar version 1.05 build 109 and better.
- Improved settings dialog box.

Version 1.1, Released October 30, 2004, Features:
- Added Share Ratio, Down/Up Speed, Completed to Torrents Details Window.

Version 1.0, Released October 30, 2004, Features:
- Can display Version, Down Speed, Up Speed and a little bit of Torrent Info in the Details Window.
- Ability to choose what to display in the panel.
- Ability to specify update interval.

Known Issue:
- I know the Panel Properties are a bit messy, that's the way it is with script-based panels. You must click ENTER after each modification. Also, you might want to drag the column to be bigger in order for you to be able to enter the full path to the stats file.
- Autofit doesn't work.

Requirements:
- Desktop Sidebar 1.05 build 109 and greater.

it works great, thanks. a nice feature would be share ratio, this is included in ststs file.
GoMa
Next version will have this (tomorrow).
DoitJust
Thanks, good job. Works great. flowers.gif
Undocking the panel creates this error
GoMa
I'm afraid this is a DS issue.
v0rt3x
I cant get it working...it doesnt even install! I guess my download is broken...does the file have 1,93kbs?

thx!
GoMa
Do you have version 1.05 build 86 of Desktop Sidebar?
GoMa

Lovely.
I see the details window is fixed and developed signs007.gif
Thank you flowers.gif

Any chance to add scrolling to the detwin?
GoMa
I'll try. However, it requires something that I'm not sure can be done with script-panels.
Prism
I haven't downloaded the panel yet since currently I'm using eMule, but notice that in the compatibility section of the ExEx it says that only DSb75 is needed.
if there's not any option for b86, IMHO you should specify that it requires the latest build.

I will specify. There isn't an option in the dropdown but I'll write it in the description. Thanks.

I have the 1.04build 75...i see no update avaliable on the site!
acommonjo
Check the Announcements section of the Forum. It is located there because it isn't as stable as build 75 is. It is stable enough for most of us to use with general use, but not stable enough to publish to the world as the current version.

I've been waiting for this panel for a long time now. Thank you so much for it... clap.gif clap.gif clap.gif

The problem is that I don't have the up/down speed value displayed (others well).
Maybe it's because I use Azureus 2.2.0.0??? sad.gif sad.gif

Could you check it out? Thanx
GoMa
I will check out this version of Azureus (while testing I used v2.1.0.4).
GoMa
Checked, have no problem. Shows everything fine.
Sachet
I don't understand blink.gif
Is there anything special to do or a setting in particular???

I just have the version and number of torrents. Once in a while, there is a value in the speed section, but it doesn't refresh at all (like a instant picture)??

sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

HEEEEEELLPPP
GoMa
Well, what is your refresh rate (both in the panel and in Azureus)?
And, sorry if the question sounds stupid, but does your download speed actually change? blink.gif

EDIT: Also, when you hover your mouse over the Torrents item, do you see correct upload/download speeds?
Sachet
Reffresh rate is 10s for Azureus and 30s for your panel. I've tried several combination without any success...

And, yes, of course speed is always changing...

PS: thx for your fast answers fun_08.gif
GoMa
Well then, it might be a problem with Azureus. Would you mind opening the XML file with Notepad and checking if you see correct speeds in the nodes called "DOWNLOAD_SPEED" and "UPLOAD_SPEED"?
Also, have you tried what I have suggested in the EDIT of my previous post?
Sachet
Checked and everything seems normal...?

For the mouse trick; nothing happens when I pass or click on it?

Huh? When you hover the number of torrents in the panel there is no Details Window? Weird... Are you using build 86?
Sachet
I meant for the speed section. Other, such as torrent number, works fine.

Excuse me for the misanderstanding...

[EDIT] Don't understand why, but now it works fine... Didn't do anything for it???
Thanx anyway... clap.gif clap.gif clap.gif clap.gif clap.gif clap.gif

Hi

Have recently discovered Desktop Sidebar having previously used SmartBarXP for a while. I've managed to set up various panels including the eMule one, but I can't get the Azureus one to work. Everytime I try to load it I get an error message saying:
'Desktop Sidebar
Cannot create panel Azureus
IPanelCreator interface is not implemented.

Do you want to disable Azureus plugin?
Yes No

Can anyone offer any help on this, have searched the forums but with no luck

Thanks in advance

Charlie

You are probably using an old "stable" build.
New builds are out already, build 86 can be downloaded from here.
I am using it for a lot of time without serious problems. This was the first build to support this type of panel.
darkstar
I cant enter a file name in to the "pathtoFile" sections.
whats the problem?
GoMa
Can't enter a file name? I think I know what you mean.
Enter the file name in the text field. PRESS ENTER. Click OK.
darkstar
sorry for my bad english.
ok key is not working . ı write a file name, but not accepting. ı cant write on text field.

after this picture, pachtofiles sections is deleting.
GoMa
Did you click ENTER (on the keyboard) after entering the file?
darkstar
of course. not any problems at the other plugins.
ı dont understand it smile.gif
GoMa
What DS build are you using?
Oh, and I can't help this problem. I knew about it, but to me it works if I click ENTER. It is in DS's implementation of properties for this kind of panel.
If you don't succeed at all, you can close DS, open the settings file in Notepad (usually c:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Desktop Sidebar\sidebar105.settings) and search for "pathToFile". Then, place the correct value between the two quotation marks.
darkstar
ı write filename :

and when ı click bottom section, its deleting sad.gif :

Prism
Don't click in any other place.
Do as the following:
1. Type the path.
2. PRESS ENTER.
3. After this, you can click OK.
GoMa
So before you click the bottom section, click on the keyboard the ENTER key (RETURN key, whatever).
EDIT: thanks, Prism.
darkstar
no. its my bad english problem.
pach to files is not permission to type anyword .
I use sidebar85. but load onto 75 version. may be this is bring a problem.

...
ok. ı just manualy record it from sidebar105.settings , and its fixed.

ıts realy graet plugin for me. thanks a lot.
GoMa
Glad you solved it. Still think you could have done it the easy way, but nevermind... smile.gif
darkstar
you are right. I dont press enter key from the keyboard. only write a name , and click the OK key. At least ı understand it smile.gif

NeilN
Actually you first have to tell Azureus to produce the file. Can you tell him where the option is located - don't have access to Azureus right now.
Da Cheffe
I made it!!!

At the first time i activated the protocoll!! My fault!!

THX!!!

I like the Azureus panel, but here the panel title always comes back! :-( Any idea why? I deactivate "show panel title", close the Sidebar - and the title is back when I restart the Sidebar...

This happens *only* for the Azureus panel... strange.
GoMa
Could you try the same thing with the Euro Exchange Rate plugin (it comes with the default DS installation)?

I have the same problem and boy is it annoying. I'm not sure why only this plugin does this. I even tried locking the sidebar, the title keeps coming back. I really hope you can fix this as its my only complaint with the plugin.

Thanks in advance.
GoMa
It's a problem with DS.
See same thing for the Foobar2000 panel (just use Azureus where it says to search for foobar2000).
Change the "decoarted" value from "1" to "0".

RootingBill
Every time when i install this plug-in, desktop sidebar crashes.

I tried it with 1.04 75 and 1.05 88.

Does anyone know why?
GoMa
This panel requires version 1.05 build 85 and above (build 88 highly recommended). You can download it from the main page.
