I've made this skin to match the beautiful visula style suggested by YYY on DS forums, called "SUSTENANCE".

-kol has gently sent me all the elements of his visual style, so I didn't have to rip them off the visual stile itself. This has speeded up a lot the work. Thanks -kol

Wonderful skin. Really amazing.

Two requests, though:
1. I don't find the yellow background of the stack panels really suitable. Could it be changed to a minor color of the base color? Meaning light blue for the blue, white or off white for the white version etc.
2. The DS caption doesn't integrate with the rest of the skin. Any plans to modify it?

Again, great skin apart from this minor bugs.

The stack bg isn't yellow!

It is a combanition of yellow and white.

Sorry goys, but I still can't see the yellow. Maybe it depends on the color profile you r using. I've taken that color from -kol's elements of his VS

I'm not a big fan of the stack background either, but it wasn't too hard to modify.

Hmmm... Even in your screenshot it is yellow. I know it isn't a yellow, but I dunno how this color is called. Color picker panel says it's RGB(250, 252, 239).

Ok. No proble in modify it. What color do you want it?

As I've said - light version of the major color. Meaning for the blue version, a lightblue stack bg, etc.
I'll let you decide about the color, I'm far from being a skinner.

Very nice skin! Unfortunately I've switched Visual Style for the time being, but I think the white variation of your skin matches nicely with what I'm using right now.

Excellent but maybe if you use antu^jamban clocks it will look much better,just my 2 cents

This is why we have decided to open the clock gallery thread. You can download antu's wonderful clocks from there and replace mine. I have done so too

your White DS skin are incorrecly named or you are missing the slate one to match that VS,btw are you planning on the olive too

hey! Banedon a fantastic work! Congrats! i use your theme in style xp and in desktop sidebar, the mood now is ergo, well... hmm... i've made a little change in editor skin, outlook non read e-mail was with an ugly blue background making a very difficult reading... nothing important. Continue please your great work!
(now a bit off-topic: where can i find those awesome theme for pointers (mouse) you've in your screenshot of the desktop sidebar theme? i'll appreciate your clue)

What I meant is that I am using the Sustenance slate VS and I notice that the DS for this one is missing,but I thought your white DS was it,but know I know it is not so slate is missing,sorry for the misundertood

I don't wanna have credits for something I haven't done
About the mousepointers, they're applied with cursorXP, and the theme is BlueCrystal. You an find them on DLB webpage

It would look better if the clock had a glassier touch to it it looks kinda plain.

Hi gigglebit, welcome in the community of DS.
I don't think that a glassy clock would be better simply because the visual style is plain, as the clock is.
But it is just my opinion...

Uhm...ok I'll try it. Or why don't you take one of antu's beautiful clocks from the clock gallery. They're there just for this use.

how do you update the clocks if they are a .png file?

Easy, I'll redraw them
Or sometimes I keep the original .psp files

I meant changing it to have the alternate clock as the clock for a skin.

like making that png clock instead of the one on the skin.

Ah ok. So choose the clock you want to have on the skin, then go under the folder you have installed DS, then search the "skins" folder and then "sustenance" folder. Then you must locate the original clock (it should be named clock.png), delete it and then paste here your custom clock, and rename it clock.png. Then restart your sidebar.

This will work if you have installed sustenance skin "for everyone" when request during the install of the skin.

If you have chosen "just for me" option, then do the same but under this folder

C:\Documents and setting\Your username\application data\desktop sidebar\skins
