I am an old user of DU Meter. A very easy and handy network monitor that shows speeds in different colors and that has a lot of settings that are really useful.
For the moment I use DU Meter separatly but I would really like it to be embedded in my Desktop Sidebar.
The thing is that both my DS and my DU Meter is "always on top" and what happens is that my DU Meter becomes hidden behind DS ('cause I don't wanna have DU outside the DS-perimeter, shadowing other applications)
So far I haven't found anything that works similarily to DU Meter.
The Performance-panel that is available in DS is ok, but not as good as many other network monitors, I'm sorry to say.
I wanna have BIG digits (not graphic) that shows my speed.. eg. 3,31mb/s.. not a history-line (that really doesn't show anything useful)..

If there is another monitor that can be applied with DS please reply!!

Use the Application Capture Panel http://www.desktopsidebar.com/ffdetails.php?id=19 then you can have DU Meter in DS. Take DU Meter out of your start up it will start when ds starts.

I have used the capture panel together with du meter with lots of pleasure, but now there's a new version out of du meter, du meter 4.0 and with this version i can't get it working with the capture panel.
Does anyone else has the same problem or am i doing something wrong?
